FAST AND SAFE: Magnetic Clamping Systems from Rivi Magnetics
Magnetic clamping plates are a quick clamping technology that can be used flexibly and universally.
They are custom-made according to the respective requirements, a standardisation of the tools regarding size or geometry is not necessary. In this way, almost all ferromagnetic tools can be clamped over their entire surface and with a high degree of bending stiffness, and then released again later. Tools and moulds are clamped over the entire surface and with a high bending stiffness within a few seconds and later released again. A current pulse activates or deactivates the permanent magnets, which work independently of the current.
Magnetic clamping systems are available in different versions depending on the working temperature. They meet the current standards for injection moulding machines and rubber presses as well as the specifications of performance levels “d” and “e”. They are virtually maintenance-free and can be retrofitted to existing machines within a few hours.
