Rivi Magnetics | FAKUMA 2026
Discover the next generation of magnetic clamping technology
Faster mould changes, smarter control and a higher level of process reliability are at the centre of what Rivi Magnetics will present at Fakuma 2026. The company brings to the fair a new generation of magnetic clamping solutions designed to make mould changes more efficient, more stable and easier to manage in everyday production.
You can meet the team in Hall A1, Booth 1322, where Rivi Magnetics will showcase M-Tecs P IRO, the new MTC control unit and the optional FES force evaluation system. Together, these technologies form a more complete and connected approach to magnetic clamping, built around the real needs of modern injection moulding.
Meet IRO, the evolution of M-Tecs P
At the centre of the Fakuma presentation is M-Tecs P IRO, the latest development in Rivi Magnetics’ magnetic clamping range for demanding plastics applications.
What immediately stands out is its fully metallic surface, combined with a robust and carefully engineered structure. The goal is to ensure precision, reliability and smooth integration into injection moulding machines without adding unnecessary complexity to the process.
IRO continues the evolution of magnetic mould clamping by focusing on what really matters in production environments, where mould changes need to be fast, safe and repeatable. By simplifying these operations, manufacturers can reduce downtime and keep production more flexible, especially in contexts where batch sizes are becoming smaller and changeovers more frequent.
IRO is not just a magnetic platen, but a solution designed to become a natural part of a more efficient mould changing process.
MTC, control that stays simple and effective
A magnetic clamping system only performs at its best when control is clear and reliable. For this reason Rivi Magnetics has developed MTC, a new compact and modular control unit designed specifically for magnetic clamping applications.
MTC manages all essential system functions in a straightforward way. It handles magnetization and demagnetization, monitors signals from the magnetic platens, keeps track of system status and communicates directly with the injection moulding machine.
Thanks to its modular structure and compact design, MTC integrates easily into different machine layouts while giving operators a clear and immediate understanding of what the system is doing at any moment. The result is a smoother interaction between operator, machine and magnetic system, with fewer uncertainties during mould change operations.
FES, an extra layer of process confidence
For applications that require even more control, the MTC system can be combined with FES, the Force Evaluation System.
FES adds force monitoring as an optional function, giving operators additional information about the clamping process. This makes it possible to adapt the system more precisely to specific production needs and application requirements.
Rather than simply holding the mould in place, the system becomes a source of useful process data that supports more informed decisions on the shop floor.
A more complete approach to magnetic clamping
At Rivi Magnetics, innovation is not limited to a single component. The focus is on building a connected system that supports the entire mould changing process.
Magnetic clamping provides the foundation for fast and reliable mould changes. The MTC unit adds structured and intuitive control. FES introduces an additional level of monitoring when needed. Service and support complete the picture by ensuring direct access to technical expertise whenever required.
Together, these elements create a more integrated ecosystem that helps make production more efficient, more stable and easier to manage over time.
Why magnetic clamping matters today
In modern plastics processing, flexibility has become a key factor. Production cycles are shorter, mould changes are more frequent and machine downtime has a direct impact on efficiency.
Magnetic clamping technology responds to these challenges by simplifying the way moulds are fixed to the machine. By creating a uniform clamping interface directly on the platens, it helps reduce set-up times and makes changeovers more predictable.
For machine builders, processors and production managers, this means looking at mould changing not as an isolated step, but as an essential part of overall production performance.
Meet Rivi Magnetics at Fakuma 2026
Some technologies are best understood when you can see them in action and discuss them directly with the people who developed them. Fakuma 2026 is the right place to do exactly that.
Rivi Magnetics will present IRO, MTC and FES and show how these solutions can be integrated into real injection moulding applications. The team will be available to discuss specific needs and explore how magnetic clamping can support different production environments.
Whether the focus is on faster mould changes, improved flexibility, better process monitoring or easier machine integration, the goal is the same: making mould changing simpler and more efficient.
